Communication on KW, VHF and UHF

The question of trust in products is, where ever you got a choice, not only depending on hard facts. Started with an Alinco handheld transceiver I quickly changed to a more famouse product from YAESU. And I ended up with this brand since now. There was also a Standard, Kenwood or something used between but the most used one are from the communication company with the big Y.

Today my station consist of the following:

- Yaesu FT-991 covering KW/ VHF/ UHF, all modes incl. C4FM

- VL 200 all mode VHF Amplifier

- All driven by a home made 13,8V power supply based on the idea and construction manual of DF9IL

- The SWR is controlled with Diamond SWR meters SX200 and SX400

- Voice support during the contest is given by "The Contest Gun" from Sanders electronics

- Yaesu FT-65E VHF/UHF FM handheld transceiver, the short range communicator and anywhere RX

- Yaesu FT-70DE VHF/UHF FM handheld transceiver, voice and data

- Yaesu FTM-100DE C4FM mobile and data trx.
